The Lord Maitreya–Christ and the Mother of the World If we are to discuss living in the radiant Heart of the Coming One, the Lord Maitreya, or the Christ, we need also to include the Mother of the World in our considerations, for the manifestation of Maitreya is linked with the confirmation of the Mother of the World. The Maitreya says to venerate the Mother of the World. We are told that the brothers of humanity battle arduously for the balance of the two origins and for the instilling of the Principle of the Mother of the World. The Origins, as we know them–the Father and the Mother–issue forth throughout space as the masculine and feminine, or active and passive, principles at work. The Cosmos exists in the greatness of the dual Origin, thus the Mother of the World and the Lords build life; the blended hearts rule the Universe. To live in the radiant Heart of the Coming One asks for a refinement of the heart. If the heart is not refined we cannot assimilate the beauties of the new revelations that will issue forth from the emerging energies of Aquarius. The presentation will focus on the legend of the Mother of the World as well as the Lord Maitreya, the Coming One, who will bring new revelations into humanity plus the practicalities of refining one’s heart.

Joleen DuBois, B.A.; M.A., D.D. Joleen has been a teacher of the Ageless Wisdom tradition since 1978. In 1982 she established the White Mountain Education Association, Inc. a 501 C3 nonprofit organization. In October of 2000, along with the help of her co-workers, she established the WMEA St. Sergius University and Seminary. This is a distance learning on-line curriculum for transformational studies and living ethics. The curriculum will help students, teachers, ministers and leaders to build the Temple of Humanity by living, teaching and exemplifying a life of Living Ethics. Joleen’s academic and personal interests have always been centered on various aspects of music and the arts, spirituality, esoteric astrology and psychology, leadership, education, and communication. Since a very early age she was surrounded with papers, writings, books, teachers and educators. She is a published author, composer, professional musician and teacher of the Ageless Wisdom, with a focus upon Agni Yoga, Torkom Saraydarian’s writings and Alice Bailey. Joleen was ordained by Carol Parrish in 1981 and, from 1978 until his death in 1997, studied closely with Torkom Saraydarian and was a member of his organization, the Aquarian Educational Group. Joleen serves as a member of the international advisory council to the World Service Intergroup (W.S.I.); she is President and on the faculty of the St. Sergius University and Seminary; a member of the Agni Yoga Society; the AAUW; and in 2001 was selected as a distinguished member of the annual 2000 Notable American Women awards. |
